Restoration process:

Wet-sand the lens: Follow the kit's instructions, using the coarsest-grit sandpaper first and progressing to finer grits. Sand in one direction—horizontally first, then vertically with the next finer grit—to remove the oxidized top layer.

Polish the lens: Use a polishing compound with a buffing pad, either by hand or with a drill, to smooth the surface and remove sanding marks.

Clean and dry: Wipe away any compound residue and ensure the lens is completely dry.

Apply UV sealant: Apply the protective sealant from the kit. This is a critical step that protects the lens from future UV damage and ensures a long-lasting result.
